1 Corinthians 3:18-4:21 Pitfalls to avoid Do not deceive yourselves We are tempted to embrace the craftiness of worldly wisdom, only to find our efforts ending up futile in the end. There's a chance we might become enslaved by things provided for our benefit and could be deceived. Do not appoint yourselves as judges. We ought to attain a higher level of spiritual maturity before rendering judgment on spiritual matters. As we attain spiritual maturity, our perspective on roles and responsibilities changes from how we once viewed them.** Do not let yourselves be consumed by arrogance. As time passes in our Christian journey, there's a risk of us becoming puffed up with spiritual arrogance. When being puffed up, we tend to boast instead of being grateful for what we have received from the Lord.
