Questions for discussion

  • When is a time someone asked you why you are a Christian? How did you respond?
  • What makes it hard for you to answer questions like this?
  • How is our belief in Jesus different than believing in Santa?
  • Why is listening in order to understand so important?
  • Why does Peter keep mentioning the way that we live when he talks about sharing our faith?

Parent Cues

  • Review what kindness means to each of you.
  • This week we are learning that we need to be kinder to others you have to be. What can that look like either at home or at school?
  • Each one in the family come up with 3 ways in which you can be kinder this week than you have to be.
  • Read together and practice your verse for this month in Colossians 3:12.
  • Pray together and ask for God to provide opportunities to each of you to go the extra mile or someone this week.
