HOW WE ABIDE IN CHRIST (John 15:1-11) The set up Christ is the vine Father tends the garden Abide in Christ Abide means: to say in a given place, state, relation or expectancy, continue, dwell, endure, be present, remain, stand, tarry Abide appears in verse 4,5,6,7,10 Verse 5 - Christ abides in us as well EVIDENCE OF ABIDING IS IN FRUITFULNESS Branches bear fruit (and are pruned) To bear more fruit Branches bear no fruit Cut out to be burned ASKING (SUPPLICATION) WHAT YOU WISH We can ask what we wish because if we abide our wish is Christ's wish It will be done Glorifies the Father Bears fruit Proves you are a disciple RESULTS OF ABIDING We have the love of God We continue to abide What about you?
