Thankful for the Fruit That Wins the World

Galations 5:16-18; 22-26

The fruit of the Spirit is the Holy Spirit living our “Christ” nature in us.

    1. Fruit, not fruit. All or nothing
    2. We do not develop it, God grows it in us
    3. We need to live it out by walking in the Spirit

    2. Joy (Luke 10:21)
    3. Peace (John 14:27)
    4. Patience (Romans 2:4)
    5. Kindness (Titus 3:4)
    6. Goodness (2 Peter 1:3)
    7. Faithfulness (Lamentations 3:22)
    8. Gentleness (Matthew 11:29)
    9. Self control (2 Timothy 1:7)

  3. THE WAY TO WALK IN THE SPIRIT (Galatians 5:24-26)

  1. The Christian is dead to self
  2. The Christian crucifies the flesh
  3. The Christian walks with the Spirit
  4. The Christian is humble

  1. Fruit inspection time. What is the fruit being produced in your life?
  2. As you are living out the fruit of the Holy Spirit in your life, who else around you needs to be the recipient of the gift of grace?
  3. Using the fruit of the Spirit as a guide, eliminate any thoughts or actions that hinder the Holy Spirit working in your life.
