Resolved Not to Rebuild

(Joshua 6:26) (Galatians 2:18) (I Kings 16:34)

Prayer is the builder to keep us from the curse.

1. GOD DESTROYS JERICHO

   1. The town was built to worship false gods
   2. Jericho was destroyed by miraculous means
   3. Rahab's house proven by archeology

2. JOSHUA ASKS FOR A CURSE

   1. On anyone that rebuilds Jericho (1 Kings 16:34)
   2. This curise is a blessing to Israel (no false gods)

3. WHEN A CURSE IS A BLESSING

1. Jesus came to remove the curse, by being the cursed one
2. Our curse is removed, do not rebuild it (Galatians 2:18)
3. We stay away from sin by walking with Jesus in prayer (2 Corinthians 10:4)
