We have a better advantage than Jesus’ physical presence (John 16:7) 3. He will never leave us (Hebrews 13:5) We have God’s truth 1. We have the eternal Word of God in writing. (Matthew 5:18) (2 Peter 1:16-21) 2. We have the eternal Word of God in person (John 1:1) MESSAGE OF THE CHURCH (1 Timothy 3:16) Jesus God in the flesh 1. Made known in flesh 2. Vindicated by the Spirit 3. Seen by Angels 4. Proclaimed to all nations 5. Believed on amongst men 6. Taken to glory What about you? Examine your motive for being at church. Are you marked by the church? Are you proclaiming Christ or your own version of Christ?
