The Continuum of Salvation

Everyone is on a journey of salvation.

1. THE BROTHERS MUST TAKE A COSTLY JOURNEY TO JOSEPH (Genesis 43:1-2)
   1. The Family is lost without a Savior
   2. The Savior has a family he wants to redeem.(Genesis 42:24 - 25)
   3. There is a cost to the Father
   4. There is a cost to the Son
2. THE BROTHERS COME TO JOSEPH IN FEAR (Genesis 43:15,18)
   1. Joseph shows them kindness (Genesis 43:31-34)
   2. Joseph brought them fear of judgement (Genesis 44:6,12-14)
   3. Joseph makes judgement the real possibility (Genesis 44:1-13)
3. THE BROTHERS REALIZE THEIR SIN TOWARDS JOSEPH (Genesis 44:16-17)

1. God already knows (Genesis 44:15)
2. Joseph sets the stage so they realize their sin (Genesis 43:23)
   1. Benjamin is favored like Joseph was (Genesis 43:34)
   2. The Cup of Trembling (Zechariah 12:1-5,10-11)
   3. Can leave Benjamin behind and go home, like Joseph (Genesis 44:17)
3. Judah brings voice to their repentance

4. THE FORGIVENESS FROM THE SAVIOR (Genesis 45:1-15)
   1. Someone else has already paid
   2. You find out, He is your brother (Genesis 45:3)
   3. The suffering and death He went through was for you
   4. All that waiting and fear and Joseph had a banquet waiting for them
