Am I living a life worth the price Christ paid? The Precious Cost (1 Peter 1:18-19) Bought our of debt Not with cheap gold or silver Imperishable precious blood of Christ He had no spot or blemish The Divine Appointment (1 Peter 1:20-21) A time was appointed before there was time The time has been made known These are the last times (why 2,000 years ago? God is letting us know it is the end coming) Made known for us to become believers So our faith and hope is in God The Positive Test (1 Peter 1:22-25) Souls are purified by obedience to the truth Results in a sincere brotherly love coming from a pure heart Result of being born again from an imperishable seed, the living and abiding Word of God The Sure End (1 Peter 1:22-23) Everything we see will perish The Word of the Lord endures forever Written and living Word preached to us 3 eternal things: God, God’s Word, and the souls of men. What about you? Redemption is free to us, but it cost Christ. God made an appointment personally for you. Is your life marked by obedience or rebellion? It is the telling test.
