Identity Before the Throne of God

Our identity as a Christian is who we are before the throne of God.

1. WHOSE KIDS IS THIS? (1 Peter 4:12-13)

   1. Do not be surprised when God brings correction
   2. It is for our good, to refine us like gold, to make us more like Christ

2. It is because of your Dad (1 Peter 4:14-15)

   1. God in trinity is with us
   2. Judgment for the Christian is considered as discipline
   3. God does not correct the kids down the street, but only His

3. Dad knows (1 Peter 4:16-19)

1. Glorify God because suffering proves we are His
2. Judgement is beginning at the house of God
   1. The Church (the People of God) not Israel. 2 Corinthians 5:10
   2. What happens the disobedient? Revelation 21:8
3. Entrust our soul to the faithful Creator

1. If God has you in a trial, He loves you.
2. Would you change your actions if you knew in the next minute you would stand before God?
3. Every day decision has eternal consequences.
