Be Careful in Your Journey

(2 Peter 2:10-22)

Because there is truth, there must be a falsehood.

1. False Teachers want to take you on a journey

      1. Blaspheme Glorious ones
      2. Act on instinct like animals by blasphemy
      3. Party in the daytime
      4. Eyes of Adultery

2. In your Journey be careful

   1. Like Balaam, a donkey has more spiritual insight

3. Who is with you in your journey

1. Glory in causing people to stray from the truth
2. They are definitely headed to destruction
3. They cause new believers to stray

4. What your journey is headed towards

   1. Escaped the defilements
   2. Through knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ
   3. They do not become entangled in the former things
   4. They have Heaven as their home

5. How your journey ends

   1. There is no more salvation for them
   2. Does Peter know this guy? (Judas)
   3. “Proximity to the truth is no guarantee of change”
