The God of All Comfort

1 Corinthians 1:1-11

We are weak, God gives us comfort in abundance.

1. GREETING

   1. From Paul and Timothy
   2. To The Church of God in Corinth
   3. Along with all the saints of Achaia
   4. Paul gives them blessing
      1. Grace
      2. Peace
      3. From God and the Lord Jesus Christ

2. WE FEEL WEAK IN OUR SUFFERING

1. Affliction is necessary
2. We should share abundantly in Christ' suffering
3. Our affliction is for others good
4. We all share in the suffering

3. GOD GIVES US STRENGTH IN OUR WEAKNESS

1. Comfort comes from God
2. Comfort is given to be given away
3. Comfort is to be shared abundantly
4. Comfort is given to us for others good
5. We all share in the comfort

4. PAUL EXPERIENCED GOD'S STRENGTH IN HIS WEAKNESS
   1. Paul's affliction was unbearable
   2. Paul's deliverance was from outside himself
   3. Paul's prayer is one for corporate thanksgiving
