Power In a Jar of Clay

2 Corinthians 4:7-12

God lives in us. Do you ever live Him out?

1. Treasure in a jar of clay

1. The treasure is the light of the knowledge of God (6) (“What’s in your wallet?”)
2. Our bodies are like a jar of clay
3. The power belongs to God
4. The power is not ours

2. Weakness in a jar of clay

   1. The pressures of living press us
   2. Sports analogies
   3. We have external pressures with internal strength
   4. We carry the death of Jesus in our mortal bodies so the life of Jesus can be seen

3. Destruction in jar of clay

1. The law of entropy is at work because of our sin
2. We are constantly dying so that others can live

Conclusion:

1. What is your treasure?
2. God is stronger than the enemy.
3. Die to self this week so others can see Christ
