Fellowship encourages obedience

God:

1. The Importance of Repetition (1)

   1. Superfluous - Violent Superabundance
   2. Ministry - in Jerusalem
   3. Saints - We are responsible for our brothers and Sisters not in our own church
   4. Human nature needs repetition to remember.

2. The Importance of Compliments (2)

   1. Paul compliments their readiness
   2. Paul uses them as an example to the ones he used as an example tot hem
   3. He points out they are all ready.
   4. We all need motivation, kindness, encouragement, fear, appreciation

3. The Importance of Inspection (3)

1. The follow up is showing up
2. To make sure they are ready like he told everyone they would be!
3. Most people will do the right thing . . . if someone is watching!

4. The Importance of Expectation (4-5)

   1. I don’t want to be embarrassed
   2. I don’t want you to be embarrassed
   3. I am sending some in advance to make sure you get it done
   4. Their can be no accomplishment without expectation

5. The Importance of Voluntary cooperation (5)

   1. Willing gift
   2. Not an exaction
   3. Freedom to say no allows people to say yes

Conclusion:

1. Examine your life, where is God telling you to obey and you resist? Do that thing.
2. Figure out what someone you know needs to be motivated to do God’s will, and help them
3. Ask a christian friend to help you in your obedience.
