God's Power in Defeating the Enemy

2 Corinthians 10:1-6

Are you even in the Battle?

1. Powerful are the weapons we wield (2 Corinthians 10:3-5)

   1. All walks in the flesh
   2. We should not war in the flesh
   3. The war is:
      1. Real
      2. Spiritual
      3. Winnable

2. Battlefield is in the mind (2 Corinthians 10:5-6) (Romans 12:2)

   1. Destroy the strong holds
      1. Manipulation (belt of truth)
      2. Image of success (breastplate of righteousness)
      3. Smooth words (the Gospel)
      4. Perception of power (shield of faith)
      5. Lording over authority (salvation)
      6. Human schemes and programs (Human schemes and programs)
   2. Take prisoner the thoughts

3. Powerful is my mind (2 Corinthians 10:6)

1. We punish disobedience
2. When our obedience is complete

Conclusion:

1. Daily put on the armor of God to fight against the world’s philosophy.
2. Daily prepare for battle by reading, studying, memorizing, and meditating on the Bible.
3. Remember, you are in the battle whether you think you are or not. Wage the war of the mind. Do not conform to the World’s thinking.
