God's Gift and Our Responsibility

(Psalm 139:13-16)

Children are a heritage from God. We need to nurture and guide them once they are in the world.

1. GOD IS PRESENT AT EVERY CONCEPTION (Psalm 139:13)

   1. Imago Dei
   2. Therefore human at conception
   3. My neighbor and I should love you

2. GOD MAKES US INDIVIDUALLY (Psalm 139:13-15)

   1. We are a new person, we are not our parents
   2. We are separate from our parents

3. GOD IS PERSONALLY INVOLVED IN OUR DEVELOPMENT(Psalm 139:16)

1. God is involved in our development throughout the first nine months
2. God is putting us together in our mothers womb

4. GOD HAS WRITTEN OUR LIFE IN HIS BOOK (Psalm 139:16)

   1. God has determined our lifetime
   2. God calls us to protect the innocent

5. BAD THINKING

   1. It is not a baby/human
   2. It’s not viable on its own
   3. It is not alive
   4. What about rape or incest
   5. Abortion will not be safe
   6. Womens’ body Womens’ choice
   7. Right Answer
      1. Love and support
      2. Care for the baby and the mother
      3. Adoption can be an option
      4. Volunteer in Children’s ministries.

Conclusion:
