(Romans 15:7-13)

We can trust God because God never fails His promises.

  1. GOD ALWAYS KEEPS HIS PROMISES(Romans 15:8)
  1. Jesus is the fulfillment of God’s promise
  2. We see God at work through Jesus throughout the Old. Testament
  1. THE GENTILES HAVE ALWAYS BEEN A PART OF GOD'S PLAN
  1. Paul quotes four passages
  2. The four passages are from the three divisions of the Old Testament (the entire OT is represented by Paul) The Law, the Prophets, and The Writings
  1. GOD IN TRINITY ACCOMPLISHES HIS WILL
  1. God in Trinity always acts together
  2. God the Father is our source
  3. Jesus Christ is the one in whom we have salvation
  4. The power we have is only from The Holy Spirit, He applies God’s will

Conclusion: Three important truths

  1. God fulfills His promises - you can trust Him completely
  2. God’s mercy reaches all nations - His mercy is seen in Jesus Christ
  3. God fill His people with Himself - His power is through The Holy Spirit
