If so, how many balls? Four, three, two, one? Are you willing to demonstrate? Read Revelation 2:18-29 and review the outline. What stood out for you from the passage and the message? Where were the Christians in Thyatira strong? What was their blindspots? Which qualities in vs. 19 would you get high marks on? Where might you struggle? Look at the first 5 points of the outline as if they were a timeline of your life (From LIFE WITHOUT GOD ... to COMING TO FAITH ... to AN INEVITABLE TEMPTATION, etc.). Where would you place yourself right now? Why? The severe consequences for sin in vss. 22-23 are a sober reminder of how destructive sin can be. Do you think this served more of a warning or an encouragement to the believers in Thyatira? How about for you? While the promises in this passage (vss. 26-29) aren’t as concrete as we would like, what is your take on them? In vs. 28 Jesus promises to give his faithful people the Morning Star. Now look at Revelation 22:16. What does it mean for Jesus to give us the Morning Star? Are there any prayer requests or praises you’d like to share with your group?
