Questions for Further Reflection & Discussion

  1. What’s a story from your life that you think you’ve told the most times? What does it convey about you?
  1. Do you think it matters that we talk about our faith, or is it ok to just live it quietly? Is it either/or, or both? Which is more important?
  1. Read Deuteronomy 6:20-25 and review the sermon outline. What stood out or connected with you most from the reading and message?
  1. What is the ONCE part of your faith story? What was your life like before God got your attention?
  1. What is the NOW part of your faith story? What’s different or better in your life now because you follow Jesus? What do you think your life would be like without God?
  1. What is the LOOKING FORWARD part of your faith story? Which promise from God means the most to you right now? If you “play the movie forward,” what kind of life do you think your faith is leading you toward?
  1. Is there someone in your life that could benefit from hearing your ONCE, NOW, LOOKING FORWARD story?
