What happened? How did it get solved? Read John 2:1–11. Review the sermon outline and its main points. What stood out to you from the passage or the message? Was there anything new, surprising, or especially meaningful? Mary brings Jesus a very ordinary problem: the wedding has run out of wine. What does this tell us about the kinds of things we can bring to Jesus? The servants are told to fill the jars with water. Imagine being one of them. What might have been going through your mind? What can we learn from their willingness to do what Jesus said? The miracle happens quietly. Most of the guests don't even know what Jesus has done. What does this teach us about how God may be working behind the scenes in our lives? Jesus didn't have to choose a wedding as the setting for His first sign. What might this tell us about His interest in the everyday parts of our lives? Why do you think John calls these miracles signs rather than simply miracles? What’s the difference? Is there an ordinary situation in your life right now where you need to trust Jesus? What might it look like to bring that situation to Him and take the next step of obedience, even if you don't know what He'll do? Share prayer requests.
