Word of Wisdom

  1. God will drop wisdom and insights in our spirits, to help others in certain situations.
  1. We need God’s wisdom for counseling, prayer, ministry, preaching and teaching of the Word.
  2. There is a higher way of functioning Isaiah 55:8-9(NKJV)
  1. The Word of Wisdom is a God-given ability to understand the mysteries of God
  1. It is a supernatural ability to answer questions, solve problems and give insight
  2. Not from the resource of experience,
  3. It’s that Godly Wisdom that is issued to you at a specific moment.
  1. This is not the wisdom talked about in James 1:5 or Joshua 1:8 the word of God makes you wise
  1. The word of wisdom is the Holy Spirit sharing supernatural insight with you to accomplish a specific work at a specific time
  1. The word of wisdom is a supernatural revelation by the Spirit of God concerning the divine purpose and plan in the mind and will of God
  1. The revelation the word of knowledge brings is always present tense or concerning something that has happened in the past
  2. The word of wisdom always speaks of the future Romans 11:33(NKJV)

Discerning of Spirits

  1. Supernatural ability to discern an individual and what spirit they are operating in.
  1. It is not the gift of “suspicion”
  2. It’s a discerning (showing insight and understanding).
  1. This is discernment about something, someone or a situation.
  1. God keeps us safe in decisions who to join up with, he protects us. Acts 8:22-23 (NCV), Acts 8:22-23(NKJV)
  1. Discerning of Spirits is never just evil spirits
  1. Discerning of spirits is seeing into the Spirit realm and there is more than just evil or bad Galatians 5:19-21(NKJV)
  1. Most issues can be prevented if we just avoid flesh flashes Application
  2. Don’t Quit Gal 6:9(KJV) 
  3. Hang on to Hope
  4. Stop trusting your feelings
  5. Spend Time with the Lord John 15:4-5
