Matthew 28:19-20 (NKJV), Matthew 28:19-20 (KJV) Ephesians 4:11-13 (NLT)

We’re called to be disciples.

  1. A disciple is like an apprentice.
    • Jesus said come and follow me and I will make you fishers of men.
    • We follow Jesus, to be like Him, to learn of Him.

John 14:12(NKJV)

* His goal for us is to do “greater works.”
* He wants us to baptize believers in water, heal the sick, and cast out demons.

  1. The path of greater works will include mishaps and mistakes along the way.

    • This is where experience and confidence grow.
  2. Being a disciple doesn’t mean being perfect,

    • making a mistake, doesn’t mean being a mistake.
    • The mistake would be following Jesus for years and never doing what He did.
  3. We are active members of the Kingdom of God

    • King Jesus is the head, and we are the body. we are Co-Laborers with Jesus
    • we have been given Kingdom stewardship.
    • Luke chapter 9 shows some great examples of Kingdom stewardship.

Luke 9:57-62(NKJV)

Embrace your platform!

Luke 10:1-4 (NKJV)

  1. Jesus didn’t wait to get to the synagogue to start sharing the good news.

    • You don’t have to wait for a stage in a building to share the good news.
    • You don’t have to wait to go on a mission trip in another country to share the good news.
    • Don’t limit the power of God to a foreign country, don’t wait to go on a mission, be on a mission.
  2. The mission field is all around you, wherever you go.

    • Not everyone is called to be on a stage, but we all have workspaces, living rooms and kitchens.
    • your platform is wherever you go… Wal-Mart, Fry’s, etc.

Luke 10:5-6 (NKJV)

  1. Find the person of peace that comes across your path.
    • You don’t ever have to force anything.
    • All of us can build up people and strengthen relationships.
    • God works through relationships.

Luke 10:7-11(NKJV)

Heal the sick

  1. Believers are supposed to lay hands on the sick.
    • You are a part of the solution.
    • Your yes to Jesus makes you a part of the laboring few, the powerful few (Gideon) Judges 7:1-9

Luke 10:2(NKJV)

  1. Supernatural signs are obligated to follow those who believe.
    • Healing is following you around, Healing is for today; Healing is here now.

Mark 16:17-18 (NKJV)``
