ROMANS 10:14 1 PETER 3:15-16 Have a Ministry (Romans 10:14) Be Available Often times the best times to share faith are also the most inopportune An effective ambassador of the Gospel ASKS: A - Ask Questions (Spiritual Ones Too!) At the end of the day, we must be willing to go there. This is where we capitalize on the ministry of presence. It is important to intentionally get into these topics sometimes, and to always profess boldly our hope in Jesus. S - Share your story, Honestly and Vulnerably Look at Paul’s example 2 Corinthians 12:7 & 1 Timothy 1:15 When we share our story honestly, we achieve a few things: Apprehensions of hypocrisy are disarmed Our testimony is emboldened as we have nothing to hide The efficacy of the Gospel is displayed Feelings of alienation and condemnation are bridged across K - Keep it Simple Do you know the a Gospel well enough to share it? Do you know the gospel well enough to focus on it? Convincing people is not our work, it’s God’s. Philippians 2:13 Know the Romans Road S - Seal the Deal (Ask for Commitment) The next step for somebody who has heard the Gospel is to have a next step. It’s to respond to the Gospel. Ask for commitment! “What do you think of Jesus after all that?/ Is accepting Jesus’s work for you and following Him something you’d like to do?” “Let me pray with you.” Matthew 28:19-20
