1. Put Christ First

Matthew 6:33 33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

2. Prioritize Walking with God

Deuteronomy 6:6–9 6 And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: 7 And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up. 8 And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes. 9 And thou shalt write them upon the posts of thy house, and on thy gates.

Let them see you walking with God

3. Make sure they know what sin and the Gospel are and why they are important.

Romans 3:23 23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;,

Romans 6:23 23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

4. Teach them how to handle riches

Matthew 6:21 21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

People are more important than stuff
