Making a Difference in Prayer

Colossians 1:1–8

People who are happiest with their lives spend them influencing others for Christ.

  1. Lead them to Christ.
  2. Teach them the Bible.
  3. Pray with them & for them.
  4. Help them find, follow, & finish the will of God.

John Maxwell “Every time I have had a breakthrough in the growth and life of my church, it has been because of intentional prayer.”

    1. Bounds “Prayer is not preparation for the battle; it is the battle.”

George Barna “Prayer was the battle cry of the congregation.”

Marlin Mull “Prayer and church growth suggest Siamese twins. You cannot have one without eventually having the other”

Waymon Rodgers “This is the area that the majority of our churches talk about the most and practice the least.”
