It always means to complete the effort and the work begun; to accomplish it perfectly; to bring it to completion. Not justification, but sanctification / consecration. An attitude of fear and trembling is an attitude of humility and submission in God’s presence. Faith in Christ is always connected to obedience to Christ Your growth in Christ is always connected to a local church Act in with the Working of God in your life The word worketh (energon) means to energize. God arouses, stirs, and energizes the heart of the believer to do God’s will. Differently Refuse to complain, gossip, or cause unnecessary division The word (goggusmon) means to mutter, murmur, grumble, and complain. It is the kind of criticism, dissatisfaction, fault-finding and gossip that goes on within small groups or cliques. The word (dialogismon) means arguments, outward and vocal questionings, and expressions of doubt. Differently Walk in integrity and purity so you can be a light to those in darkness Believers are to work at being (amempto): free from fault and censure; to be faultless; above reproach and rebuke. Believers are to work at being (akeraioi): unmixed and unadulterated. Believers are to work at being (amoma): without blemish, spot, or defect. Differently Share the Scripture Learn the Bible Pray for the unsaved/unchurched Ask the Lord for opportunities Differently What Counts Later is What Matters Now Joy has nothing to do with circumstances, but everything to do with one’s place in Christ.
