Psalm 127:1–5 ; Deuteronomy 6:4–7

Building a home that honors God, strengthens relationships, and passes faith to the next generation.

“How do I faithfully follow Christ in whatever family season God has given me?”

A strong family is not built by accident—it is built intentionally around God.

1. A Home Needs the Right Builder — v. 1

A home that is centered on the following the Lord and obeying the Word will be building on the right foundation.

A godly home is one where God is at the center.

2. A Home Needs the Right Protector — v. 1

We should work diligently to protect our families/lives, but ultimately our security is found in the Lord.

3. A Home Needs the Right Priorities — v. 2

Don't sacrifice your family while trying to provide for your family.

4. A Home Needs to See Children as a Gift — vv. 3–5

  • They Matter – From the Lord
  • They must be directed – Arrows
  • The must be influenced – Stand in gate
  1. You should submit your plans to God.
  2. You Need the Blessing of God.
  3. Acknowledge that God is Sovereign – in charge.
  4. Appreciate Blessings come from Him.
  5. Accept responsibility for shaping next generation.
