Deep Down, We Know Something Revelation: I can know something about God because God makes Himself known. I only know what He reveals. General/Natural Revelation: The general knowledge I have about God is from nature and His image within me. Special/Specific Revelation: The specific knowledge I have about God is from the Scriptures and, ultimately, Jesus in the Scriptures. Progressive Revelation: Through Scripture God gradually and increasingly makes Himself known, finally and completely, in Jesus. **We Know Something About God** 19 since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. 20 For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse. A Holy God is a revealing God. We can know something about Him, ultimately in Jesus. We Know Enough Revelation means that a Holy God communicates to us. God reveals Himself to us in such a way that life makes sense in Him.
