Do not use meaningless repetition as the Gentiles do… They may be seen . . .They will be heard by their many words… Maybe we should keep most of our prayers humble, persistent, and private.* We Pray To God. We pray to a Father we have a relationship with. We pray to a Father who is Holy. We pray to a Father who answers us. We pray that our will falls in line with God’s will. We Pray For Us. We pray to a Father who can meet our needs. We pray to a Father who forgives us. We pray to a Father who can guide us. We pray so we can be where God wants us to be, not the other way around.
