Romans 1.8, 15-17 People need Jesus. The church knows Jesus. The church follows Jesus. It’s not hard to figure it out why church matters. Trust Me Righteousness is God’s character Righteousness is God’s activity Righteousness is God’s achievement Trust Me, and live your life trusting me. Why Does Church Matter? Christians follow Jesus, nothing more and nothing less. The church is, ultimately, people. People who follow Jesus. Where ever we followers go there goes the church. Where ever we followers go there are people who need Jesus. The church matters because it is through the church that people hear the Gospel message and meet Jesus. And then, people follow Jesus. We’re part of the Big Church.****
