We need the Jesus of the Gospels, and we need the Gospel of Jesus. John 3.1-8 The Gospel of Jesus is a challenge to a new life in Jesus. The Challenge Nicodemus was trapped in religion. Nicodemus experienced a challenge to his religious convictions. Jesus challenges us at the point of our beliefs and convictions about God and our relationship with God. The born again life is a new life, it is an eternal life. The Life To follow Jesus speaks of a change in the direction and purpose of your life. To follow Jesus and to be born again requires faith and trust in Jesus. *We are born again when we trust the resurrected Jesus as our savior. This is the difference between life in Jesus and the religions of men. *
