(“Bless”= “eulogeo” – speak of someone) Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn. (Shared joy is a joy; shared sorrow is a sorrow) Live in harmony with one another. (disagree over non-essentials) Do not be proud or conceited. (willing to be a like Jesus – Philippians 2:6-8) Display Love Do not repay anyone evil for evil. (Flesh says, “Fight fire with fire!”… Spirit says, “ ” = “meden”) Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone. (Flesh says, “ !”… Spirit says, “ first”) Live at peace with everyone. (Flesh says, “ !” … Spirit says, “Do everything in your power to live in ”) Do not take revenge. (Flesh says, “Give it!”… Spirit says, “Do and leave ”/ “didomi” = “give place”) (“Overcome” / “Nikao” = “Victory”) Conclusion: May you and I refuse to be defeated by evil. May we always do what is right and good. God will bring us victory over evil!
