Acts 14:1-28

  1. (Acts 14:1-7)
  • (vs.1) – “many believed”

  • (vs.2) – “stirred up” “poisoned”

  • (vs.3) – “speaking boldly”

  • (vs.4) – “some sided”

  • (vs.5-6) – “mistreat”

  • (vs.7) – “continued to preach”

  1. (Acts 14:8-18)
  • (vs.8-10) – healed a man

  • (vs.11-13) – called Paul & Barnabas gods

  • (vs.14-18) – Paul & Barnabas

  • They – “tore their clothes”

  • They – “we are only human”

  • They – “turn from worthless things”

  1. (Acts 14:19)
  • “won the crowd over”

  • “they stoned Paul”

  • “came from Antioch & Iconium”

  1. (Acts 14:20-25)
  • (vs.20) “He got up and went back into the city”

  • (vs.21) “they returned to Lystra, Iconium, Antioch”

  • (vs.22) “we must endure hardships to (before) enter the Kingdom of God”

  1. Report (Acts 14:26-28)
  • (vs.26) “where they had been committed”

  • (vs.27) “reported all God had done through them”

CONCLUSION:

God wants us to continue in the faith when we experience hardships. Do not go back to the empty things that you have been redeemed and set free from.
