Sunday, March 22, 2026 BIG IDEA: Grace, Graciousness & Godliness Acts 15:1-35 The : A False Gospel The (Acts 15:1): The Gentiles needed circumcision for salvation, adding to “grace”. The (Acts 15:2): Paul and Barnabas faced intense debate and dispute. The (Acts 15:2-4): Take the dispute to the apostles and elders in Jerusalem. The : Validating the Gospel (Acts 15:5-11): Peter states we are all saved the same way—by grace through faith. (Acts 15:12): Paul & Barnabas share God’s work among the Gentiles (signs and wonders). (Acts 15:13-21): James submits that Scripture confirms God bringing in the Gentiles. : Do not make it difficult! Grace, Graciousness, and Godliness. The : Communication (Acts 15:22-27): Delegates affirm the Gentile believers and confirm the Gospel in person. (Acts 15:28-29): The focus is on freedom from the Mosaic law without offending Jewish brothers in Christ. (Acts 15:30-35): Joy and Encouragement come to the church in Antioch. CONCLUSION: Gospel clarity brings great joy and freedom. Don’t make it difficult for people to come to Jesus! Get Grace! Give Graciousness! Go Godly!!
