Jesus’ communion w/his Father was .

Luke 5:16 (ESV) But he would withdraw to desolate places and pray. (NLT) But Jesus often withdrew to the wilderness for prayer.

Jesus’ relationship w/his Father went far than a daily appointment.

John 5:19 (NLT) So Jesus explained, “I tell you the truth, the Son can do nothing by himself. He does only what he sees the Father doing. Whatever the Father does, the Son also does.

John 5:30 (NLT) I can do nothing on my own. I judge as God tells me. Therefore, my judgment is just, because I carry out the will of the one who sent me, not my own will.

John 14:11 (NLT) Just believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me. Or at least believe because of the work you have seen me do.

How to Cultivate a Satisfied Heart

Keep on praying & never stop.

Romans 12:12 (NLT) Rejoice in our confident hope. Be patient in trouble, and keep on praying. 1 Thessalonians 5:17 (NLT) Never stop praying.

Persistently pray in the Spirit at all times on every occasion.

Ephesians 6:18 (NLT) Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere.

Devote yourself to alert & thankful prayer.

Colossians 4:2 (NLT) Devote yourselves to prayer with an alert mind and a thankful heart.

Pray about everything so you don’t worry about anything.

Philippians 4:6 (NLT) Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.
