John 10:27 (NLT) My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. 1. The real Shepherd gets the say. (Authority) 2. The true sheep fully , not just fully agree. (Surrender) John 10:26 (NLT) But you don’t believe me because you are not my sheep. Luke 6:46–49 So why do you keep calling me ‘Lord, Lord!’ when you don’t do what I say?” 3. What voice has the most influence over peoples’ daily thoughts & decisions right now: Jesus, culture, social media, your emotions, or something else? How can you tell? 2. Which of the four areas is hardest for you right now—authority, surrender, relationship, or transformation—and why do you think that is? 3. Can you think of a time when Scripture challenged something you wanted, believed, or planned? How did you respond to Jesus’ authority in that moment? 4. When you read the Bible, do you approach it more like gathering information or listening to a relationship? What would it look like for your Scripture time to become more interactive and personal?
