Saying “Yebo” to God – Habakkuk 2:1-2

I will climb up to my watchtower and stand at my guardpost. There I will wait to see what the Lord says and how he will answer my complaint. Then the Lord said to me, “Write my answer plainly on tablets, so that a runner can carry the correct message to others. This vision is for a future time. It describes the end, and it will be fulfilled. If it seems slow in coming, wait patiently, for it will surely take place. It will not be delayed. Habakkuk 2:1-3 NLT

To say “Yebo” to God:

: Go to your place of solitude “I will climb up to my watchtower” Habakkuk 2:1a

But Jesus often withdrew to the wilderness for prayer. Luke 5:16 NLT

: Calm your mind and heart “I will…stand at my guard post” Habakkuk 2:1b

: Look for what God shows you “I will look to see what he will say to me” Habakkuk 2:1c NIV

I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people, Ephesians 1:18 NIV

: Get closer to God “yet I will rejoice in the LORD! I will be joyful in the God of my Salvation.” Hab. 3:18
