Be True to Yourself? 1. Who are you? Where is your ? We are naturally born sinners (Ephesians 2:1-3, 1 Corinthians 2:14). If we are just keeping it real then we are keeping ourselves in the God Jesus didn’t say be true to you, He said be born again (John 3:5-7). We are not just forgiven we are reborn and transformed Gods plan was never to the natural man it was to kill it and so we could be reborn in His Spirit. 2. What is in control, the or the spirit? The Bible teaches we now have a flesh and the spirit (Galatians 2:20). We have to old man dead (Romans 6:11). We can’t kill it Jesus did, we just live under that truth. 3. What is the or what is the truth? God's Word is the standard (2 Timothy 3:16). Our life and personality is to before Gods standards not our own or the worlds. We can’t operate in our feelings, but in what is true and the standard for all humanity. God's Word! 4. What am I serving? We will obey and serve a master (Romans 6:16). Jesus said we cannot serve two masters you will love one and hate the other (Matthew 6:24). You be true to yourself and to God. Can you be good enough and make it to Heaven?
