King's Ways

There is an effect upon the heart that has entered the kingdom and drawn near to the King to know and honor Him. Once crowns of other reigns have been cast at His feet, a burning grows strong in that heart, not just for His presence and His name, but for His will and His ways. With increasing passion for Him comes an ever-expanding zeal for His thoughts, preferences, and Word. This is what sets His Kingdom far above any other. It is established on wisdom and understanding far above any earthly origin. Any pursuit of His Kingdom will be seeking the will of the Father that permeates every square inch of its space. To even exist in His Kingdom is to have come according to His will expressed in His Word. In this passion will be an embrace of His Word that takes it on as an identity. How it is received and honored is how we are personally received and honored. To disdain, question, or deny His Word is like denying, questioning, and rejecting those who embrace Him and His ways. There is also the revelation that what is done to those who are His is the same as doing it to Him.

This heart full of zeal for God’s house (everything He is doing) continually demonstrates this in proactively removing everything that opposes the King and His Word. Earthly thoughts and ways are actively discarded and upended for the Truth that only comes from Him. All movements are determined by adherence to these higher thoughts. Every compliance to His will, though, makes way for His glory in received promises His Word proclaims. If He said it, it will come to pass. Growing in His Word is growing in Him and His kingdom. All the “things” will be added.

The King’s way only comes from Him

Isaiah 55:8-9 (NLT) 8 “My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the LORD. “And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine. 9 For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so my ways are higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts.

Deuteronomy 5:32-33 (NKJV) 32 "Therefore you shall be careful to do as the LORD your God has commanded you; you shall not turn aside to the right hand or to the left. 33 You shall walk in all the ways which the LORD your God has commanded you, that you may live and that it may be well with you, and that you may prolong your days in the land which you shall possess.

Deuteronomy 30:16 (NLT) 16 For I command you this day to love the LORD your God and to keep his commands, decrees, and regulations by walking in his ways. If you do this, you will live and multiply, and the LORD your God will bless you and the land you are about to enter and occupy.

Jeremiah 31:33-34 (NLT) 33 “But this is the new covenant I will make with the people of Israel after those days,” says the LORD. “I will put my instructions deep within them, and I will write them on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people. 34 And they will not need to teach their neighbors, nor will they need to teach their relatives, saying, ‘You should know the LORD.’ For everyone, from the least to the greatest, will know me already,” says the LORD. “And I will forgive their wickedness, and I will never again remember their sins.”

Our King’s voice with His way

Isaiah 30:21 (NLT) 21 Your own ears will hear him. Right behind you a voice will say, “This is the way you should go,” whether to the right or to the left.

In Christ – God’s expressed will/way

John 1:1-4 (NKJV) 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. 4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.

Matthew 22:37-40 (NLT) 37 Jesus replied, “‘You must love the LORD your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 A second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 The entire law and all the demands of the prophets are based on these two commandments.”

1 John 2:24-25 (AMPC) 24 As for you, keep in your hearts what you have heard from the beginning. If what you heard from the first dwells and remains in you, then you will dwell in the Son and in the Father [always]. 25 And this is what He Himself has promised us–the life, the eternal [life].
