Alignment for the Assignment in 2026 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.” — Hebrews 11:3 1: THE SPIRIT REALM IS MORE REAL THAN THE NATURAL God works from the unseen into the seen, and He invites believers to partner with Him there. 2: GOD INVITES US TO WORK WITH HIM "For we are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s field, you are God’s building.” 1 Corinthians 3:9 (NKJV) 1 Corinthians 3:9 (AMP – Amplified Bible) ‘’For we are God’s fellow workers [His servants working together]; you are God’s cultivated field, God’s building.” What Paul Is Saying A cultivated field is not wild land. It is land that has been: Chosen Prepared Tended Planted with intention Biblical Picture of a Cultivated Field Paul explains this just verses earlier: “I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the growth.” — 1 Corinthians 3:6 Here’s the order: God assigns planters God assigns waterers God alone produces growth YOU ARE GOD’S BUILDING” “…you are God’s field, God’s building.” — 1 Corinthians 3:9 (ESV) What a Building Implies A building is: Designed Planned Built according to specifications Constructed on a foundation You are not being thrown together. You are being built on purpose. Faith is IN ALIGNMENT —aligning our hearts, words, and actions with what God is already doing in the spirit realm. 3: FAITH IS OUR ACCESS POINT “But without faith it is impossible to please Him.” — Hebrews 11:6 Faith is not passive belief. Faith is active alignment. Faith listens before it speaks Faith obeys before it sees Faith trusts God’s timing over human logic 4: OUR WORDS AND ACTIONS ALIGN US WITH THE SPIRIT REALM "Death and life are in the power of the tongue.” — Proverbs 18:21 Words are not neutral. They either align us with fear—or with faith. Proverbs 23:7 (KJV) “For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he…” This speaks to internal alignment producing outward behavior. Thinking → believing → behaving Repeated patterns shape conduct What is internalized becomes embodied 2 Corinthians 3:18 “But we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed…” Beholding = sustained attention. Transformation follows focus, not effort. 5: OBEDIENCE POSITIONS US FOR GOD’S WORK "If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land.” — Isaiah 1:19 Obedience is not about earning God’s favor. It is about staying aligned with His purposes. “Why do you call Me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not do the things which I say?” — Luke 6:46 What Jesus Is Addressing Saying the right words without submission Calling Him “Lord” without obedience Spiritual language without aligned living Attention → alignment Alignment → manifestation (expression) Faith is revealed in walk, not talk James 1:22 – “Be doers of the word, and not hearers only.”
