The Power of a Strong Spirit of a Mother Psalm 145:4 AMPC [4] One generation shall laud Your works to another and shall declare Your mighty acts. It’s legacy building. It’s world changing. It’s life directing. It’s an investment into the Kingdom. If you knew who you were raising -and the purpose that you carry -in what you’re imparting, you would understand -this is one of the most spiritual assignments you’re fulfilling. Your value isn’t found in everything that you do -or everything that you accomplish. Your value is found in LEANING INTO the One who gives you the ability to do it—HE gives value. One of the greatest things a mother passes down is not just her appearance, traditions, recipes, or habits — she passes down her strong spirit. Knowing WHO you are is having a strong spirit…your identity. God created you and THAT makes you valuable. YOU ARE GODS MASTERPIECE! Not a mistake or after thought…with purpose, detail and love. Knowing who you are has nothing to do with you… Its giving God all the praise and honor for what He has done It’s identifying with who God is in you. If a woman knows her value/worth she raises kids of value and worth. Proverbs 31:25 AMPC [25] Strength and dignity are her clothing and her position is strong and secure; she rejoices over the future [the latter day or time to come, knowing that she and her family are in readiness for it]! Strength and dignity or honor arm her or cloth her against care, worry, fear of the future, anxiety, not nervous, She has a confidence in her God that’s faithful. Lives in constant tranquility of mind. Strength comes from knowing WHO you are and WHOSE you are. Proverbs 31:30-31 AMPC [30] Charm and grace are deceptive, and beauty is vain [because it is not lasting], but a woman who reverently and worshipfully fears the Lord, she shall be praised! A mother’s reverence for God is her greatest adornment. It’s Not in youth, fashion or ability to do it all…it’s her relationship with God. The Fear of the lord…that’s trusting Him above all else. It’s the Secret of wisdom and a well lived life. A critical spirit tears down. A nurturing spirit builds up. A critical spirit constantly reminds people of what they are not. A godly spirit calls out what they can become. The enemy would love for homes to be filled with criticism, tension, comparison, and impossible standards. But God calls mothers to cultivate homes filled with grace, truth, wisdom, correction, and love. Much of what we do is through sowing seeds. Sow seeds of love, correction, prayers, into futures. It may take years to see the harvest or the fruit, but God sees it all. Every word of affirmation you speak …every boundary you set, every spiritual seed you plant, it all matters you’re not just raising children you’re raising future warriors, world changers, kingdom builders—-your obedience, your wholeness, your ‘yes’ to God —it all matters. Your work is reflecting God‘s love. She opens her mouth with wisdom, and loving instruction is on her tongue.” — Proverbs 31:26 Notice: Wisdom AND kindness. Truth AND love. Correction AND compassion. Some people are truthful but harsh. Others are kind but never truthful. But godly mothers learn how to do both. If the enemy can steal your worth— he can distract you from your purpose! It’s hard to fulfill your purpose if you’re not feeling loved! Faith works by love. Love is the enabler of all fulfilled purposes. Example…JESUS —LOVE held Him to the cross. Love pulled Him out of the grave..Love gave us that same RIGHT STANDING WITH GOD. RIGHTEOUS LIVING! Ephesians 2:10 says they were: “created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand…” Romans 12:2 says: “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind…” Psalms 127:4 says: “Like arrows in the hand of a warrior are the children of one’s youth.”
