Power Activation

For power to be effective:

Filling - acquiring the necessary information/fuel/energy/
Activation - activity that takes the power from resident to evident.

Resurrection power abides inside

Romans 8:11 (NKJV) 11 But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.

God’s exceeding ability display from power within

Ephesians 3:20 (AMP) 20 Now to Him who is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly more than all that we dare ask or think [infinitely beyond our greatest prayers, hopes, or dreams], according to His power that is at work within us,

With the filling of the Spirit - power

Acts 1:8 (NLT) 8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere—in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

Understanding precedes activation

Ephesians 1:19-20 (NLT) 19 I also pray that you will understand the incredible greatness of God’s power for us who believe him. This is the same mighty power 20 that raised Christ from the dead and seated him in the place of honor at God’s right hand in the heavenly realms.

There is already something familiar to act with

Exodus 4:2 (NKJV) 2 So the LORD said to him, “What is that in your hand?” He said, "A rod." Exodus 4:17 (NKJV) 17 And you shall take this rod in your hand, with which you shall do the signs."

Executing something very doable activates sea division

Exodus 14:13-18 (NKJV) 13 And Moses said to the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which He will accomplish for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall see again no more forever. 14 The LORD will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace.” 15 And the LORD said to Moses, "Why do you cry to Me? Tell the children of Israel to go forward. 16 But lift up your rod, and stretch out your hand over the sea and divide it. And the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea. 17 And I indeed will harden the hearts of the Egyptians, and they shall follow them. So I will gain honor over Pharaoh and over all his army, his chariots, and his horsemen. 18 Then the Egyptians shall know that I am the LORD, when I have gained honor for Myself over Pharaoh, his chariots, and his horsemen."

David had a sling. Moses had a rod. Samson had the jawbone of a donkey. The widow had a little oil. The disciples had five loaves and two fish.

Simple movement triggers overwhelming power

Mark 5:25-34 (NKJV) 25 Now a certain woman had a flow of blood for twelve years, 26 and had suffered many things from many physicians. She had spent all that she had and was no better, but rather grew worse. 27 When she heard about Jesus, she came behind Him in the crowd and touched His garment. 28 For she said, “If only I may touch His clothes, I shall be made well.” 29 Immediately the fountain of her blood was dried up, and she felt in her body that she was healed of the affliction. 30 And Jesus, immediately knowing in Himself that power had gone out of Him, turned around in the crowd and said, "Who touched My clothes?" 31 But His disciples said to Him, “You see the multitude thronging You, and You say, ‘Who touched Me?’ " 32 And He looked around to see her who had done this thing. 33 But the woman, fearing and trembling, knowing what had happened to her, came and fell down before Him and told Him the whole truth. 34 And He said to her, "Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace, and be healed of your affliction.”

Stirring of a given gift makes way for power activation.

2 Timothy 1:6-7 (NKJV) 6 Therefore I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands. 7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

Things very doable - speaking and forgiving - moves mountain

Mark 11:23-25 (NLT) 23 I tell you the truth, you can say to this mountain, ‘May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and it will happen. But you must really believe it will happen and have no doubt in your heart. 24 I tell you, you can pray for anything, and if you believe that you’ve received it, it will be yours. 25 But when you are praying, first forgive anyone you are holding a grudge against, so that your Father in heaven will forgive your sins, too.”

The purpose of the cross - obtain good deeds with God’s glory

Titus 2:14 (NLT) 14 He gave his life to free us from every kind of sin, to cleanse us, and to make us his very own people, totally committed to doing good deeds.

Recognizing each opportunity to do the very doable as power activating

Galatians 6:9-10 (NKJV) 9 And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. 10 Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.

Care given to excellence and skill facilitates life’s potential

Ecclesiastes 9:10 (NLT) 10 Whatever you do, do well. For when you go to the grave, there will be no work or planning or knowledge or wisdom.

A God empowered reward is enabled in every activity

Colossians 3:23-25 (TPT) 23 Put your heart and soul into every activity you do, as though you are doing it for the Lord himself and not merely for others. 24 For we know that we will receive a reward, an inheritance from the Lord, as we serve the Lord Yahweh, the Anointed One! 25 A disciple will be repaid for what he has learned and followed, for God pays no attention to the titles or prestige of men.

A simple step empowers possession

Joshua 1:3 (NKJV) 3 Every place that the sole of your foot will tread upon I have given you, as I said to Moses.

Stepping in love empowers identity as children

Ephesians 5:1-2 (NKJV) 1 Therefore be imitators of God as dear children. 2 And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma.

The offering of every gift, skill, ability in diligent service activates the power of God to be known through them.

2 Corinthians 2:14 (TLB) 14 But thanks be to God! For through what Christ has done, he has triumphed over us so that now wherever we go he uses us to tell others about the Lord and to spread the Gospel like a sweet perfume.
