Prayer For The Battle

Ephesians 6:18–20 (NLT) 18 Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere. 19 And pray for me, too. Ask God to give me the right words so I can boldly explain God’s mysterious plan that the Good News is for Jews and Gentiles alike. 20 I am in chains now, still preaching this message as God’s ambassador. So pray that I will keep on speaking boldly for him, as I should.

Because God helps us when we pray, we must pray in the battle? Four principles of prayer:

Ways to put this into practice this week:

1. Pray daily for spiritual protection from the evil one.

2. Pray daily that you will stand firm for Christ.

3. Pray daily that you will share Christ with someone else.

4. Pray daily for alertness and awareness of the spiritual battles we and others face.

5. Pray daily for members of our church to stand firm and share Christ.

6. Pray daily that believers around the world will stand firm and share Christ.

7. Pray daily for leadership to stand firm and share Christ.
