Prayer of Confession
Father God, You reveal Yourself to us in many ways, yet we are clueless, unsure, and often doubtful about what we see. We become unaffected by Your work in the world, and our eyes glaze over rather than getting excited by Your revelations. You manifest Yourself to us through the scriptures, in quiet prayers, and in wise counsel, yet we are slow to listen. We need Your Spirit’s strength to open our eyes and soften our hearts. Be with us as we tune in to the many ways that You speak to us today, and guide us through life in the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ, Amen.

Affirmation of Faith - The Apostles’ Creed

I believe in God, the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ, His only son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried. He descended into hell; the third day he rose again from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost, the holy catholic church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.
