Hymn - “Love Lifted Me/Amazing Grace” - screen/#280

Prayer of Confession - God of Grace, we have a hard time letting go of the past, the shame we feel about some of the ways we’ve lived our lives, the things we’ve done or failed to do, and the guilt we feel as a result. We find it hard to forgive ourselves for things we have done to others, unkind words that we have said, good deeds we could have done but failed to do, or selfish acts that had a negative effect on others. May Your grace flow abundantly, O Lord, to heal and restore both ourselves and others. Help us to seek reconciliation and extend sincere apologies to those we have hurt, so that we may all find solace in Your merciful embrace through the love and grace of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Sermon - “A Spiritual Home” - Rev. David Bonnema

What makes a place feel like home?

Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your , now that you have tasted that the Lord is good. —1 Peter 2:2-3

What is one way you have grown spiritually in the past year?

As you come to him, the living Stone—rejected by humans but chosen by God and precious to him— you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. —1 Peter 2:4-5

We are building something special here at Unity upon the foundation of Jesus Christ.

“Do not store up for yourselves on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your will be also. —Matthew 6:19-21
