Welcome - Rev. David Bonnema

Call to Worship - Rev. Dana Seiler

  • Leader: All that we are is a gift from God;
  • People: The earth, and all that is in it.
  • Leader: All that we have is a gift from God.
  • People: The world, and those who live in it;
  • Leader: All that we do is for the glory of God;
  • People: We rejoice as we praise God for God’s great gifts.

Hymn - “Praise Ye The Lord, The Almighty” -#482 - 3 Verses

Prayer of Confession:
God of grace, you have given us many gifts that we fail to share. You have given us the gift of time: time to serve, time to learn, and time to grow, yet we mostly spend our time serving ourselves. You give us the opportunity to use our talents and abilities, yet we tend to diminish our gifts. You have given us more financial resources than most of the world, yet we resist sharing because of fear of the future. Help us to be generous people and share the gifts that we have been given. Forgive us through Christ so that we may live in your love, Amen.

Doxology

Affirmation of Faith - The Apostles’ Creed:
I believe in God, the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ, His only son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried. He descended into hell; the third day he rose again from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost, the holy catholic church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.
