LIFE IS SHORT, ETERNITY IS REAL, PEOPLE MATTER MOST. Daniel 11:32 An exploit is to make full use of and derive benefit from a resource. We exist to reach people far from God. Genesis 12:1-2 We have been blessed to be a blessing! 2 reasons why Destiny Church exists. #1 The grace and favor of God. Favor is a living breathing dynamic relationship with Jesus Christ that changes the way you see God and your understanding of the way he sees you. The favor of God is the guarantee of his Presence and the provision of his Power to accomplish his special purpose in and through our lives. #2 Intentional generosity. When you take the first and lay it at His feet, He blesses the rest. Proverbs 11:24-25 [NKJV] Proverbs 11:24 [MSG] If you live with intentional generosity, your world gets bigger. All of life is an entrustment and a stewardship. Matthew 28:18-20 2 Corinthians 4:1-2 You have an entrustment and responsibility to stewart what he has called you to do. Romans 14:12 Maturity takes responsibility for others; immaturity causes us to be self-absorbed. Immaturity is self-centered. Maturity says it’s all about others. Corinthians 5:10 LIFE IS SHORT ETERNITY IS REAL PEOPLE MATTER MOST 4 Stages to Building a Life of Legacy When God starts building something, it doesn’t stop with one generation. 1 Chronicles 28:9-11 Be strong, and do it! God chose you to build something with your life! 4 principles we need to get! 1. KNOW HIM KNOW is the Hebrew word yada’ - To know by experience, to make oneself known, to be intimate with. 1 Chronicles 28:9, [AMP] The more we know Him the more we want to become like Him. Here are some traits of those who know God intimately: A sacrificial love for others. A lifestyle of generosity. A life of faith A love for His Church A love for mercy and a cry for justice A heart for the nations A longing for heaven 2. SERVE HIM “Serve him with your whole heart and a willing mind…” Romans 12:1-2 You’ll never make a difference in your world without serving others. Serving without intimacy with God is dead religious work, and it will exhaust you; When you serve people with purpose, you earn authority in their lives. 3. SEEK HIM “If you seek him, you will find him.” When you seek him, you will realize He has unlimited resources that he will entrust into your hands. 4. CONSIDER NOW You are here for such a time as this! This is a Kairos moment. CONSIDER is the Hebrew word ra'ah: to look upon, to discern, distinguish and have vision for. Partner with us to build for the generations to come. Pray and obey! Living for legacy Do I know God, and am I on a personal journey to know Him more? Am I in the process of discovering my purpose and serving others with my gifts? Can I currently describe my life as one who is diligently seeking after God? Am I an active participant in what Jesus is building in the earth, through my local church?
