I have determined to build on what my family did great and improve on what they didn't do great. Luke 6:42-49 [NKJV] Is your home built on the rock Christ Jesus? Family applies to everyone! God loves FAMILY! Genesis 1:26-28 [NKJV] Psalm 68:6 [NKJV] 1. God’s desire and design is that everyone would find their place in a healthy family. If God can use the messed up families of the Bible, he can use our messed up families! Whatever God , satan ! Show me your friend and I will show you your future! If God can use the families of the Bible, he can use your family! One thing we all have in common is family dysfunction! There are no perfect families, but God is a redeemer! 2. God’s desire and design is to restore families that have been broken, attacked by a very real enemy, and suffered relational loss! John 8:32[NKJV] Jesus makes you and I the ultimate story of redemption. He calls us sons and daughters. He calls us the family of God. Romans 8:31[NKJV] We have all experienced the brokenness of family. Here’s what’s required for Restoration! Somebody has to be Jesus in the relationship! Romans 5:8[NKJV] 3. God’s desire and design is to redeem your legacy and write a new story for your family. 2 Corinthians 5:17[NKJV] Not only does God redeem your life, but he gives you the opportunity to write a new history! Josiah was a righteous king in a long list of unrighteous kings! 2 Chronicles 34:1-5[NKJV] He drew a line in the sand and said no more! 2 Kings 23:25 [NKJV] 3 things Josiah did!
