For this world is not our permanent home; we are looking forward to a home yet to come. - Hebrews 13:14 NLT

There is more than enough room in my Father's home. If this were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you? When everything is ready, I will come and get you, so that you will always be with me where I am. - John 14:2-3 NLT

"God blesses you when people mock you and persecute you and lie about you and say all sorts of evil things against you because you are my followers. Be happy about it! Be very glad! For a great reward awaits you in heaven. And remember, the ancient prophets were persecuted in the same way. - Matthew 5:11-12 NLT

Then Jesus said to his disciples, "If any of you wants to be my follower, you must turn from your selfish ways, take up your cross, and follow me. If you try to hang on to your life, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for my sake, you will save it. And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul? Is anything worth more than your soul? - Matthew 16:24-26 NLT

So stop telling lies…don't sin by letting anger control you…quit stealing…don't use foul or abusive language…get rid of all bitterness, rage, anger, harsh words, and slander, as well as all types of evil behavior. - Ephesians 4:25-31 NLT

2. .

And since we are his children, we are his heirs. In fact, together with Christ we are heirs of God's glory. But if we are to share his glory, we must also share his suffering. - Romans 8:17 NLT

We are pressed on every side by troubles, but we are not crushed. We are perplexed, but not driven to despair. We are hunted down, but never abandoned by God. We get knocked down, but we are not destroyed. Through suffering, our bodies continue to share in the death of Jesus so that the life of Jesus may also be seen in our bodies. Yes, we live under constant danger of death because we serve Jesus, so that the life of Jesus will be evident in our dying bodies. So we live in the face of death, but this has resulted in eternal life for you. - 2 Corinthians 4:8-12 NLT

God blesses those who are persecuted for doing right, for the Kingdom of Heaven is theirs. - Matthew 5:10 NLT
