Scriptural Focus: Galatians 3:23-29

“Judaizers” – Christians who advocated for the continuance of observing Jewish laws and customs, especially circumcision, among the gentile (non-Jewish) believers. They believed that in order to become Christian, a person had to first convert to Judaism and follow Jewish religious practices.

“So the law was our guardian until Christ came that we might be justified by faith.” (Galatians 3:24)

There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus (Galatians 3:28)

Together as the Church, we are called to walk in step with the Spirit, with the assurance of salvation, knowing that Jesus Christ alone is enough for my salvation.

Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. 13 Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. Colossians 3:12-14
