We Are Ambassadors of

We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God.
2 Corinthians 5:20

As Ambassadors We (Matthew 28:16-20; Hebrews 10:24-25)

As Ambassadors We Show (Matthew 22:34-40)

“Jesus was asked for but one commandment, but he goes further and adds ‘a second’ that, he says, ‘is like it.’ Wholehearted love for God means coming in some measure to see other people as God sees them and all people as the objects of God’s love. Therefore, anyone who truly loves God with all [their] being must and will love others.” (Leon Morris)

Whoever claims to love God yet hates a brother or sister is a liar. For whoever does not love their brother and sister, whom they have seen, cannot love God, whom they have not seen. 1 John 4:20

How are we, as ambassadors for Christ, being a neighbor to people we meet?

IN WHAT WAYS CAN YOU SEE THE INFLUENCE OF YOUR ENVIRONMENTS ON HOW YOU TALK OR ACT? WHY DO YOU THINK THAT IS?

WHAT DOES IT MEAN IN YOUR OWN WORDS THAT YOU ARE CALLED TO BE AN AMBASSADOR OF JESUS CHRIST WHEREVER YOU GO? WHAT DOES THAT MEAN FOR YOU?

READ THIS PRAYER AND THEN WRITE YOUR OWN PRAYER THAT REFLECTS A DESIRE TO LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOUR AS YOU ALSO LOVE GOD.

My life shall touch a dozen lives before this day is done; Leave countless marks for good or ill, ere sets the evening sun. This is the wish I always wish, the prayer I always pray: Lord, may my life help other lives it touches by the way. (source unknown)
